The sad thing about the US is that it is already far behind on giving workers decent wages (as a developed nation); now it'll slip even further. Nobody in Norway takes a wage-cut. They tried that route and the uproar was nearly deafening. We do have good unions here, though. They are the key to keeping workers from being victimized.

I wonder, too, how we can possibly catch up to what more user-friendly nations have done with the national debt and the financial crisis etc...
